Jacks or Better

Jacks or Better deals five cards and asks players which to keep before a replacement draw. The final five-card hand determines the award according to a fixed poker pay table. A pair of Jacks or higher is the minimum paying combination, with stronger results including Two Pair, Three of a Kind, a Straight, a Flush and the rare Royal Flush. The first decision is the whole game: keep a modest result or draw toward something higher. The classic format needs no dealer comparison, and each round settles as soon as the replacement cards arrive.
